Academia Rossica, in collaboration with Snob, is delighted to invite you to a very special evening with the legendary Liepa family. Ballet star Andris Liepa will host a retrospective of the life and career of his father, Maris Liepa, one of the greatest dancers and choreographers of the Bolshoi Ballet’s Golden Age. Andris will share with guests the story of the Liepa ballet school, which also nurtured the talent of his sister, Ilze Liepa, herself a star of the Bolshoi Theatre. Guests will also have the unique privilege of viewing video materials giving an invaluable insight into this legendary dynasty, revealing both their meticulous commitment to the profession and the incredible talent cultivated by the inextinguishable desire to achieve perfection.
