The English translation of Farewell: The Greatest Spy Story of the Twentieth Century, by acclaimed Russian author Sergei Kostin and Eric Raynaud, has become one of the best selling books on Amazon. Published by AmazonCrossing in August, this detailed account of the significant, yet largely unknown espionage plot in the 1980s includes a foreword by Richard Allen, national security advisor to President Reagan. It has taken top spot in the espionage category on Amazon in the US and UK, and reached the top 100 non fiction books in both countries.
The film version of the book was released last year.
