biography
Sean Martin is a writer and filmmaker based in the UK. He is the author of an acclaimed study, Andrei Tarkovsky (Pocket Essentials 2006), an introduction to Tarkovsky's work, and the forthcoming New Waves in Cinema (Kamera Books 2009). He is the director of the forthcoming feature film, Folie à Deux, and Lanterna Magicka, a documentary about the Scottish filmmaker Bill Douglas and early cinema. He is also developing a documentary about Tarkovsky's cinema and its relation to dreams.
