Russian Seasons of the 21 Century

Following its triumphant Coliseum debut in 2011 and four successful seasons in Paris Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Saisons Russes du XXI Siècle returns to London with international guest star Artistic Director Andris Liepa. The programme features ‘Cleopatra – Ida Rubinstein’, an original idea by Liepa which recounts the story of the creation of Fokine’s renowned ballet; ‘Le Spectre de la Rose’, a tale of enchantment and beauty based on a poem by Theophile Gautier; a spellbinding new production of the Russian folk tale ‘The Firebird’ and other Dyagilev classics.
