Mikhail Segal

Mikhail Segal has written and directed a dazzling range of projects, from feature length dramas to pop videos, as well as short films and advertisements. His first feature film Franz+Polina (2006) was premiered at the 28th Moscow International Film Festival, while his latest offering, 2012’s highly acclaimed Short Stories, won Best Screenplay at the 23rd Kinotavr Festival and was recently screened at the 56th BFI London Film Festival and the 6th Russian Film Festival in London. He has also written two collections of prose, Youth (2010) and Short Stories (2013).
