Petr Drozdov (Bondarchuk), is a senior Moscow official who at the Governor’s request supports the destruction of a small rural museum of Russian literature, but this was before he met Masha, a young literary scholar working at the museum…
Avdotia Smirnova, Director
Born in 1969, Smirnova is well known as an actress, TV presenter and scriptwriter, and has worked with many well known directors, including Alexei Uchitel'. Her first feature film as director, Contact (Связь), was released in 2006. Two Days is her second film.
Fyodor Bondarchuk, Actor
Bondarchuk is one of Russia’s leading directors, as well as actors. His debut film, The 9th Company, about the Soviet War in Afghanistan, broke all domestic box office records and has been released internationally. In recent years he has become well known both in Russia and abroad, as one of Russia's most high profile and successful actors.
Ksenia Rappoport, Actress
Originally performing on stage, she has recently starred in a number of successful feature films in Russia and Italy. In 2009 she won the Best Actress Award at the 66th Venice Film Festival for the film La doppia ora (The Double Hour).
